Grain

Due to the weather patterns we have experienced during the growing season for wheat, you can expect to find diseases lurking in the field.

Wheat diseases can have significant economical impact on producers. Environmental conditions in early spring can vary considerably and have major influence on the prevalence and extent of specific wheat diseases across the state.

Producers are encouraged to monitor their fields. Early identification of wheat diseases can often be treated.

Please click the link to view the multi-state extension wheat disease identification guide.  It is an excellent resource for identifying problems.

If you have any questions or concernse, please contact one of our agronomists to assist you with treatment.
